摘要

Following ind-epth investigation on secondary cooling technology for continuosu scasting of vanadium and titatium micaroalloyed pipeline steels, optimization of secondary cooling control scheme aiming to improve spray cooling condition for pipeline steel X52 is studied in this paper. Such improvements minimize central cracks and central segregation of cast slabs to meet the needs for good welding performance and hydrogen induced cracking resistance. In addition, the relationship between secondary cooling control scheme and slab internal quality is investigated. and the secondary cooling scheme most suitable for pipeline steel X52 is established, which improves slab qulaity and creates favorable conditions for casting more steel grads. The results have laid a foundation for further optimization of the secondary cooling control scheme.
