Predicting User commands using a simple classifier system

摘要

This paper addresses the problem of command prediction. We compare a statistical method that uses a matrix to store command frequencies with a simple classifier system. The prediction methods were tested on command usage history data from a novice and expert user on the UNLX system. Preliminary results suggest that a three-condition, one-action classifier system outperforms the other methods tested.
