Technip-Coflexip – Flexibility in deepwater pipelaying solutions with the CSO Deep Blue

The CSO Deep Blue was designed from the outset to be a multi-role pipelay and constructionrnvessel to support deep and ultra deep water operations worldwide. It is the first vesselrndesigned to carry out rigid reeled, J-Lay and flexible deep water pipelay operations. Thisrncapability, together withrnthe high lay tension capacity in both rigid and flexible pipelay, provides optimum flexibility andrnresults in a very efficient and cost effective operation.rnThe vessel flexibility is also enhanced by the use of a sonar based system for touch downrnmonitoring thus removing the need to have a Survey Vessel supporting the pipelay operations.
