摘要

High intensity focused ultrasound surgery is a new medical technique, which provides the possibility of destroying, non-invasively, selected volume. It is essential to monitor the process of the HIFU treatment accurately and evaluate the curative effect by real time ultrasonography. In this experiment, HIFU interacts with normal Rabbit liver tissue. We study the histological response of tissues to the ultrasonic insult. On the other hand, we compared the area and volume of the lesion tissues with that in ultrasonogram. The histology of lesions in normal rabbit liver, as viewed by light and electron microscopy, is described. It is showed that the lesion area investigated in ultrasonogram is less than that in tissues sample.
