Notes on Images Restoration using Inverse Diffusion

摘要

This paper studies the restoration of images blurred due to diffusion. Notes are made on three inverse diffusion algorithms for image restoration, including ⅰ) The limit to performance of Rosenfeld's "one shoot" (OS) algorithm. ⅱ) The successive recursion (SR) algorithm and its accumulative error estimation. ⅲ) The error sensitivity and the indicator in seaching for the unknown blurring scale. ⅳ) The "search and one shoot" (SOS) algorithm as the combination of OS and SR for image restoration in lack of prior knowledge of the degradation scale.
