Natural language processing in multi-agent systems

An agent model with natural language processing and learning abilities is proposed. We formalize the process of natural language understanding as the composition of the parsing function and the understanding function. The domain knowledge is taken as parameters in the computation so that the mechanism of natural language processing becomes domain independent. We use neural semantic network to represent semantics so that both of the parsing and the understanding can be in parallel by making the neurons act automatically.
