摘要

oxidizers in the SBAR seemed to be due to the inhibition by nitrous acid which is known to stop the growth of nitrite oxidizers completely at a certain concentration. From the results it can be concluded that the distribution of nitrite oxidizers depends on the inhibition condition and nitrite oxidizers can grow to the theoretical ratio with ammonia oxidizers as long as complete nitrification is achieved.
