As the high moisture content, sludge dewatering is one of the most important processes for slu-dge reduction and reuse. It studied a kind of sludge safe landfill site by using geotechnical filter bag to dewater sludge, and its application in engineering. Geotechnical filter bag dehydration steps were divided into three stages, filling (including dosing), dehydration, consolidation. This technology was to pipe sludge into the geotechnical filter bag after it was treated by adding potions. Then, after a series of process of flocculation and sedimentation, draining and filtering, the sludge with high-percent water in geotechnical filter bag will be contracted in volume in a short time. Finally, the dewatered and cured sludge will be disposed in situ or translocation according to actual engineering situation. In the process of construction, geotechnical filter bag can be multi-folded. The geotechnical filter bag multilayer stack technology reduced much more land occupancy, compared with the sludge natural drying. In the process of construction, we must do well in seepage control and sewage guide line to prevent secondary pollution. The technology was a cheap and environmentally friendly way of sludge treatment.
