Visualization of the results of groundwater models in Internet and Intranet: a Java-framework based on RMI, JNI, JDBC and Swing

摘要

In the management of large-scale projects concerning hydrological planning and aquifer management it is necessary to make plan variants accessible to decision makers from different specialities, different companies or communities. The transfer of results to all participants of a project in a suitable form with opportunity of interaction (enlargement) via internet or - if existent - intranet is the objective of this research project. A multimedia internet/intranet-based information system was conceived and implemented. It's applicability for the task described above was analyzed and evaluated.
