摘要

The fracture aspects of acid stress corrosion in E and C glass fiber reinforced vinylester composite were presented and the fracture behaviors were discussed. Particularly, interfacial degradation behavior was focused in C glass fiber reinforced composite because the interface should be a key to understanding the fracture behavior of C glass fiber reinforced composite in acid environment. The fracture surfaces after environmental creep test, mode Ⅰ fracture toughness test, and compact tension test were observed. The phenomena related to the interfacial degradation were obtained, and consequently it is suggested that the interfacial degradation occurs in short immersion period.
