Control technology challenges for the future

摘要

If we examine the state of the art in control technology for the test 25 years, we become aware of how much control practices have changed during this time. There have been many remoarkable changes beginning with the instruments and equipment that make up the control room, to control implementation and process algorithms, the support tools for control applications, through the skill level of avaialble manpower. Turthermore, indications are that the future rate of change will be even more accelerated. This paper presents a vision of the changes for the next 25 years in the state of the art control room.
