摘要

Wireless network architectures are subject to several constrains, namely scarce radio resources, high error rates and limited computational power on client side. Available security protocols suffer from such deficiencies and should be specially tailored in order to adapt to these environments. In this paper, we suggest a new protocol based on TLS which enables both the mobile clients (WAP, GPRS, IEEE 802.11, etc.) and the server to mutually authenticate each others and securely negotiate cryptographic secrets. In fact, it efficiently optimizes the computational time needed to open secure sessions for mobile clients
