摘要

Though short fibre reinforced thermoplastics have been already introduced threerndecades ago it is still a class of materials with a dynamic development. This is truernfor the basic materials where e. g. natural fibres as gaining weigth as well as longerrndiscontinuous fibres which influence processing and properties. The paper reports onrnthese aspects as well as on fibre related problems like attrition, orientation and weldrnlines.
