Ecological and biotechnological aspects of biofilm formation in waste water treatment

摘要

The influence of ecological factors on the development and properties of biofilms was analyzed. The conclusion about ecological succession in to the different age biofilms under the long-term hydrodynamic stress was drawn. Some effects in a "biofilm-adsorbent" system, such as accumulation of different substrata on the adsorbent surface and theirs accessibility to biodegradation, and also biological regeneration of the adsorbent were described.
