摘要

An anoxic titrimetric test was investigated for measuring denitrification potential of different wastewaters, both municipal and industrial, and to quantify the denitrifying activity in an activated sludge system. The method measures the amount of acid that is required to maintain the pH set-point value in a batch denitrification experiment, and it was performed using the DENICON (Denitrification CONtroller) biosensor. Good correlation between titration data and analyses was found.
