Modified projection method for array pattern synthesis

摘要

A method for amplitude and phase constrained array pattern synthesis based on the intersection approach is proposed. In this work an alternative formulation to is given which leads to a number of improvements, both in the computation efficiency and in the convergence robustness. The synthesis algorithm becomes in fact insensitive to the choice of the starting point and shaped pattern synthesis with stringent constraints on the excitations can be rapidly performed.
