Heat Transfer Predictions Using Advanced Two-Equation Turbulence Models

摘要

The paper describes a validation studiy for the accurate prediction of heat transfer problems with a Computational Fluid Dynamics tool. The simulations are based on recently developed turbulence model formulations using advanced near wall boundary conditions. The validation cases demonstrate that accurate heat transfer predictions are within reach for engineering applications.
