It'll all be all right. "Deciding to do something" in a company is called planning. Let's look a bit more closely at this, because it brings us straight to the start of a comprehensive integrated management system. All business activities need to be planned so that the possible effects of alternative options are made clearly visible and their future effect made quite obvious, as far as this is possible. This then results in a stipulated choice of one of the alternatives with the aim of guaranteeing the greatest possible continuity in business procedures by planning and ensuring workflows with regard to the human, machine and process components in the company. The plans should create a commitment to achieve a certain system status after a specified period in time. Planning also fulfils the tasks of motivating performance, promoting creativity, coordinating activity and adapting to the environment.
