Dimensional relations stated in the paper refer to an ideal blend of two mono-sized powder components, one coarse, the other fine. The blend was conceived so that the particles of the fine component forms spherical covers on the coarse particles and fills the pores between coated coarse particles. The established relation can be used to determine: 1. the average distance between the centers of two coarse particles or the distance between their surfaces as a function of concentration, particles size, porosity of the unblended components; 2. the concentration of the components in the blend in case of imposed distance between coarse particles and of known particles size and porosity for unblended or pressed components.
