摘要

New approach to produce nanostructured WC powder by CVC(Chemical Vapor Condensation) process was made to improve the mechanical properties of advanced hardmetal. For powder preparation the easily decomposed precursor contained W components was used as starting materials. After synthesis of W-carbide powder from a precursor powder by CVC process, the powder size was about 10-20nm in diameter with less agglomeration, and of uniform particle size distribution.
