Jet grouting - range of the grouting jet

Based on visual experiments conducted in a half technical scale, the mode of functioning of jet grouting in sand has been studied- Having regarded the physical processes in the soil, a calculative approach was developped resting on the physical understanding that the depth of penetration increases as long as the impact is greater than the resistance. Once equilibrium has been reached between the power of penetration created by the jet and the resistance, the jet no longer continues to advance further.
