Assessment of risks following from the soil and groundwater contamination at the brownfield site - case study

The assessment of risks following from the soil and groundwater contamination was performed for the brownfield site. The contamination by petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and toxic metals was found in the soil and/or the groundwater. But due to the natural attenuation processes the risk for the potential recipient (the river) is not probable. Neither the risks for human health were assumed.
