An essential emphasis of the qualification of laser beam welding is located in the field controlled by law in the simplification of the admission of such components by basis investigations for processing of modified testing methods. FEM simulations of the tensile and bending test and the speckle interferometry add to this. Using a detailed material law with three different material fields help to understand the material behavior of laser beam welded joints.
