Concentrations of various endogenously produced steroidal hormones, including testosterone, epitestosterone, androsterone, etiocholanolone, dehydroepiandrosterone, dehydrotestosterone, 5a-androstane-3α, 17β-diol, 5β-androstane-3α,17β-diol and pregnandiol composed the steroid profile, one of the most important tools in doping control of athlets. The analysis was performed by a selective, specific and sensitive gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) method, in selective ion monitoring mode, and for the identification and quantification of anabolic steroids in human urine a data analysis application Enhanced Chemstation/Windows XP and macros development in-house were used.
