Controlling the Modulus of Geilan Gum Hydrogels for Inkjet Printing Cell Culture Substrates

In summary, we have showed that it is possible to control both the viscosity and modulus of gellan gum without changing the polymer concentration. This simple approach could be applied to predict gel stiffness in geilan gum cell culture substrates and improve the performance of geilan gum as a bio-ink for ink jet printing of cellular constructs.
