To provide a method which makes it possible to efficiently acquire spheroid from various types of cultured cell, a manufacturing method of a cell culture substrate which employs such a method, and a cell culture substrate obtained by employing such a method.SOLUTION: There is provided a control method of cell adhesion strength of a cell culture substrate on which a cell is adhered and cultured, in which the cell culture substrate is constituted of carboxylated cellulose fiber, and the amount of carboxyl group present per unit mass of the fiber is changed to change cell adhesion strength.SELECTED DRAWING: None
