A statistical approach of (UWB) antenna modelling has been proposed. From generic antennas resulting from a classical design flow (geometry, simulation, optimization, realization and measurement), populations of derived designs are obtained by randomly varying various parameters. Electromagnetic simulations are performed for each sample and a parametric modelling process is applied to achieve a high 'model order reduction'. A statistical analysis of each population is then achieved with these parameters (poles and modal residues). As an example, an analysis of the natural frequencies of a population has been proposed.
