Spatial data processing in environmental information system

摘要

The following paper gives an overview on spatial data procesisng of environmental applicatiosn. In the introduction environmental information systems (EIS) are seen as a specialization of geographical information systems requiring addtional components to cover the broad range of tasks in the environmental application sector. The contribution discusses the methods used, illuminates the state-of-the-art of technology and shows development, trends, and deficits.
