PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial data processing method, spatial data processing system and spatial data processing program enabling a user to easily perform the retrieval and browsing of intended spatial data and capable of displaying the spatial positional relation of the spatial data retrieved by the user in a form easy for the user to understand.;SOLUTION: This system has a database for storing a plurality of background data differed in resolution in association with prescribed visual point altitudes for every resolution. According a background data request from a browsing terminal, the background data of an area requested by the background data request is read from the database based on the visual point altitude information designated by the user, and transmitted to the browsing terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
