Fabrication of Composite Structural Material of Cemented Carbides and Cermets

摘要

Tungsten which main raw material of cemented carbide tool is eccentrically-located material, have high risk for grows in price and short supply. The purpose of this research is to reduce tungsten usage by making composite structure of cemented carbide and cermets. The previous work, we research the problem and cause of making composite structure, and evaluate the characteristics of composite. We report the effect of composite structure on cutting performance.
