摘要

Composition of W-Ni-Fe-Co powders was consolidated by electro discharge compactionrnprocess. The formation of high density and high strength structure of W-Ni-Fe-Co compositernmaterials was investigated and optimal process parameters were defined. The structure ofrnW-Ni-Fe-Co composite material reaches top strength at certain magnitudes of appliedrnpressure and high voltage electrical discharge parameters. We studied densification processrnof powder material during electro discharge compaction by means of high-velocity filming ofrnthe pulse current characteristics measured by a Rogovsky coil. The temperature evolutionrnduring electro discharge compaction process was measured by means of thermocouplernmethod. We have installed the wave nature of powder densification process in electrorndischarge compaction. We defined wave front velocity of densification process and pressurernamplitude in wave front subject to parameters of electro discharge compaction.
