This paper is a part of the domain regarding the extension of metallic powderrnutilisation. The steels have been elaborated through argon medium heating of the ironrnpowder samples compacted at 300, 400, 600 Mpa, until 950°C, temperature at whichrnmethane gas sintering has been efectuated. Next, the samples have been heated in argonrnmedium in order to be sintered at 1130°C, with a 30 minutes maintaining. There have beenrndetermined: the amount of carbon in different layers, starting from the surface layer intorndepth, the microstructures and microhardnesses of those layers, tension resistance andrnsample resistance. There are also presented the effects of the working parameters,rnconsolidation pressure, carburizing time and temperature and sintering time and temperaturernover wear resistance of these materials.
