摘要

Large orbit gyrotron (LOG) is one of the high power microwave generators. It is a special type of gyrotron where the electron cyclotron radius equals the beam radius and is considered to possess high-efficiency capability in high-harmonic oscillation modes. It is therefore believed to be a potential source for powerful radiation in far-infrared region. The objective of our research is to generate high power and high frequency electromagnetic wave using LOG, which is driven by repetitive pulsed power generator "ETIGO-Ⅳ" (400 kV, 13 kA, 120 ns, 1 Hz). In this paper, we report the results on relativistic electron-beam generation and beam current diagnostics.
