Inspection and Retrofit of a Segmentai Concrete Box Girder Bridge

The Main Structure of the Jamestown-Verrazzano Bridge features a 4,950-foot-long post-tensioned segmentai box girder with spans varying from 109 to 636 feet. Opened in 1992, it was inspected in 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2006. In addition, a detailed investigation of the post-tensioning system and several repairs have been performed.
