For the steep-sloped hillside roadway construction, an integral cantilevered space frame system with ground tieback anchors was introduced as an alternative for deep-cut and high-fill approach which would often leads to potential slope instability problems and initiates new landslides during the service life as well as increases the life cycle cost of the project.
