Two severely deteriorated six-span prestressed concrete box-beam bridges were recently repaired via post-tensioning fiber-reinforced polymer laminates and StressHead System. Both structures were subjected to full-scale live-load field testing prior to and following repair and rehabilitation. The initial live load tests were intended to provide a baseline rating for assessing the existing capacities of reference bridges. The objective of the post-construction live-load tests, analogous to the pre-construction tests, was to enable the performance assessment of rehabilitated bridges. The comparison of field test results revealed that in both cases, the response behavior changed very little and the stiffness of the interior and exterior beams increased slightly upon repair and rehabilitation.
