摘要

Although the water projects in China are first class in quantity, type, construction technique and experience,rnthe safety control technique relatively lags. The management level does not match the construction level.rnThe existence of many dangerous projects and the construction of extra large scale water projects demandrnthe establishment of a safety assurance system which focuses on water engineering health and earlyrnwarning to find the engineering abnormality and the hidden dangers in time. Firstly, this paper reviews therncurrent situation of study on hydraulic engineering safety. Based on dangerous projects and the safety ofrnlarge scale water projects, the conventional philosophy on water engineering safety is changed. Therndevelopment trend of safety assurance technology is introduced in aspects such as basic theory and analysisrnmethod, monitoring, inspection and experimental instrument, new material and technology and so on.
