摘要

Evaporative pattern casting (EPC) is a new type of green casting method, which has a bright future.However, EPC is still not a mature technology in China.Much work needs to be done in the future.Materials, design and manufacturing are key aspects of EPC research.Varieties of experiments have been done using HB-XZK7532 CNC milling machining polystyrene foam to study the effect about different processing parameters such as spindle speed, feed speed, path interval and cut-depth,etc.on the work piece surface quality.The foam pattern practical application of CNC machining and milling is implemented based on the experimental results, such as processing better quality of design like aircraft and Coke bottle look.
