摘要

In order to improve the mechanical properties of the NEPE propellant, we studied and designed a series of self-assembled monolayers(SAMs) on aluminum powder surface. In this paper, we designed DZ-type SAMs. They can react with aluminum, then arrange regularly on the surface of aluminum powders. On the other side of DZ SAMs, the terminal -OH groups could react with the - NCO groups of curing agent N-100, by witch DZ SAMs enter the cross-linking net of NEPE propellant. Applications of aluminum powder surface modified by DZ SAMs in NEPE propeliant were conducted. The results show that DZ SAMs added in NEPE propellant could improve the elongation of the propellant obviously meanwhile no other harmful effects could be found. We had investigated the effect of molecular chain length of DZ SAMs on the mechanical properties of the propellant. in terms of XPS, IR, and FT-IR, The bonding action between DZ SAMs and aluminum atom and monolayer arrangement were discussed.
