摘要

The extended Kantorovich method has been applied to analyze the in-terlaminar stresses at the free edge of composite laminates subjected to a mechanical uniaxial tension. Using the principle of complementary minimum energy and iterating through the extended Kantorovich method, the results given by the present method satisfy the traction-free conditions not only at the free edge, but also at top and bottom surfaces of laminates. For verification of the proposed method, cross-ply, angle-ply and quasi-isotropic laminates are considered. Through the iteration processes of four times, the convergence of the solutions is demonstrated. The present method predicts both the in-plane and out-of-plane stresses accurately. Thus, at the interior as well as near the free edge of laminates, the present method can provide accurate stress predictions.
