摘要

Transients of an arc discharge initiation due to interrupting current are investigated.In consideration of the fast transients, a distributed constant system was introduced, which consisted of a coaxial switch and coaxial cables as a distributed constant line. It is shown that the current drops step-wise at the moment of interrupting current and the transition duration is less than 2.0[ns].
