摘要

A simple chemical method was established for inducing bioactivity of Ti and its alloys. In this study, the chemical treatment with alkaline aqueous solution was attempted to Ti implant to form TiO_2 on its surface. Thus, treated substrates formed a dense and uniform bonelike apatite layer on their surfaces in the simulated body fluid (SBF) with ion concentrations nearly equal to those of human blood plasma. The forming time of apatite layer on the surface of Ti implant by the electro-chemical deposit process with different current and loading time was decreased.
