摘要

In this paper, a new type of double armature squirrel cage high voltage induction motor which has simplicity, reliability of conventional squirrel cage induction motor as well as excellent performances of high starting torque and low starting current of wound-rotor induction motor has been analysed sufficiently. The influence of skin and saturation effects to the starting parameters of induction motor has been taken into consideration. The circuit equations for analysis of characteristics have been derived.A method of the optimal starting characteristics for the new type of double armature squirrel-cage induction motor has been presented.
