On the use of Residual-Based Compact high-order numerical dissipation for Implicit Large-Eddy Simulation

The use of suitable high accurate numerical techniques is of mostrnimportance for the simulation of turbulent flows since they enable capturing flowrnstructures from large to small scales at an acceptable computational cost. A famillyrnof high order dissipation scheme has been tested on several test cases to assess hisrncapability as a regularization term for ILES.
