摘要

In this research, the new rounding method using water jet by which desired edge profile can be acquired efficiently was proposed. In the proposed method, water jet pressure, abrasive mesh size, stand-off distance and water jet injection angle are taken as machining conditions. The simulation model to generate machined profile is proposed and proved to be appropriate. The model is very indispensable to determine cutting conditions beforehand. Effects of those cutting conditions on machining profile, surface roughness and machining time are examined by several experiments.
