A group of 86 volunteers was examined on eachrnworking day in autumn 2001 and in spring 2002.rnSystolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressurern(DBP) and heart rate (HR) were registered. Pulsernpressure (PP) was calculated. Data about subjectivernpsycho-physiological complaints (SPPC) were alsorngathered. Altogether 2799 recordings were obtained.rnMANOVA was employed to check the significance ofrninfluence of the following factors on the physiologicalrnparameters: 1) local geomagnetic activity (GMA)rndivided into five levels; 2) gender – males and females;rn3) blood pressure degree – persons were divided intornhypotensive, normotensive and hypertensive. Post hocrnanalysis was performed to elicit the significance ofrndifferences in the factors' levels. Average values ofrnSBP, DBP, PP and SPPC of the group were found tornincrease statistically significantly and biologicallyrnconsiderably with the increase of local GMA.rnHypertensive persons were found to be the mostrnsensitive persons to geomagnetic storms.
