3D spatial data acquisition and modeling by using laser scanning

摘要

After an introduction about spatial data acquisition by using laser distance measurement, the principles of laser scanning are introduced. The research issues about laser scanning application are discussed. The modeling method of 2.5D and 3D object depending on laser scanning data is presented. An application system based on 2D scanner, DGPS and CCD cameras is introduced. Finally some conclusions and further research work are introduced.
