摘要

The main objective of the project “Application ofrnremote sensing and other space technology tornhydrology and water resources (ID 5281)” is to assessrnwater resources availability under human and naturalrnpressure on the Yangtze River basin combining remoternsensing data with distributed hydrological models.rnChinese and ESA satellite images and groundrnmeasurements have been analysed in order to providernthe necessary dataset to the modelling.rnTwo main objectives can be highlighted in this work:rn1) to evaluate the use of LST retrieved from MODISrn(MODerate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer)rnsatellite images for the validation of a distributedrnhydrological model as a complementary method to therntraditional calibration with the few dischargernmeasurements for river basin, 2) to evaluate thernpossibility of computing evapotranspiration from thernclosure of the hydrological water balance at monthlyrnscale using only satellite data and ground dischargernmeasurement.
