摘要

The paper introduces a new Differential Pressue Flowmeter (DPF) applied to oil/water two-phase flow borehole.The structure and measureingprinciple of DPF are discussed in detail in the paper.The flow collecting technique in production logging is used in the measurement.The flid in the casing is forced into the inner of the tool through the below ports and flow out back to casing through upper ports by inflatable parker.When fluid flows out the ports,teh presure fecreases,the cross section area of he casing being 36 times to that of the inner of the tool and the flow direction being changed,which produces the varying of static pressure difference.the varyign of static pressure difference relates to flowrate.The flowrate in the casing can be measured by measuring the static pressure difference between the inner of the tool and the position at which the flow bunch has diverged fully in the casing.
