USE OF NATURAL MATERIALS FROM NORTHERN RUSSIA FOR THE ISOLATION OF RADIOACTIVE WASTES AND SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL

摘要

The application of natural materials to the isolation of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel is being assessed, together with possible isolation technologies. The operational requirements for such materials are identified and a proposal for an inter-regional ecological and technological project is discussed.
